This morning , my sdterr.txt in c:boincslot2 has grown to over 9GB. It is completely full of the following messages 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 1: SymGetLineFromAddr(): GetLastError = 126 I have shut down BOINC. So to questions, what should I do before starting BOINC back up? Can anything be done to limit the number of times an error message gets written? |

The file should rotate and get deleted automatically from time to time. You can delete this file while BOINC is shut down without problems. BOINC WIKI ![]() ![]() BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
